This is our boozy twist on the classic “drowned” Italian dessert. It’s perfect for when you want to whip up something a little special but have no interest in spending hours in the kitchen.

Or if you’re sweltering through a hot, sticky summer’s day. Oooff. This is perfection.

Surely it’s not surprising that we’re using our Espresso Foxtail to create this one. You can of course make your own espresso martinis but there’s waaaay less fuss when you use a Foxtail! Just saying.

We give you full creative license with the ice-cream flavour. Ricotta, cinnamon and honey. Nutella swirl. Classic vanilla. Whatever you want. Just get it. Espresso Foxtails have delicious hints of cocoa, vanilla and nutmeg along with a pretty punchy cold brew espresso so it should be easy to find something that works.

Recipe

It’s almost too simple to label a recipe, but here it goes...

Chill your glass in the freezer.

Grab a cocktail shaker and pour in the Three Foxes Organic Espresso Amaro and a shot of espresso. 

Shake baby shake to get a super foamy crema.

Next scoop out your ice-cream and place a blob in each glass.

Drown the ice-cream with your shook up liquid deliciousness.

Finish with a few curls of chocolate, dusting of cocoa and nutmeg or maybe some chocolate covered coffee beans.

Bang! Your fancy-schmancy dessert is ready.
